Stanis艂awa i Wac艂awa na Wawelu), also known as the Wawel Cathedral (Katedra Wawelska), is a Roman Catholic church and cathedral of the Archdiocese of Krak贸w, located on Wawel Hill in Krak贸w, Poland.
More than 900 years old, it is the Polish national sanctuary and traditionally has served as coronation site of the Polish monarchs.
The Wawel Royal Castle (Zamek Kr贸lewski na Wawelu) is a castle residency located in central Krak贸w, Poland, and the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in the world. Built at the behest of King Casimir III the Great, it consists of a number of structures from different periods situated around the Italian-styled main courtyard.
